Rajwadi Thali Catering (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have when you visit this website, request a catering quote, use our menu-planning tools, or otherwise contact us. We are a vegetarian catering business based at 3352 Mowry Ave, Fremont, CA 94538, serving the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

By using this website or submitting a request through it, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information through it.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information that helps us respond to you and plan your event. Specifically:

• Details you give us through the quote & contact form. When you request a quote, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, event date, event type, guest count, the package or service you’re interested in, and any message or notes you write. Your message is a free-text field, so it may contain additional information you choose to share (for example, dietary needs, venue details, or budget).
• Menu selections you build on your device. Our “Build Your Plate” / AI Menu Planner saves your in-progress menu locally in your own browser (using your browser’s local storage) so your selections aren’t lost if you navigate away. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us unless you choose to include it in a quote request. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
• Communications you send us. If you email, call, or message us (including via WhatsApp), we receive whatever information you include in that communication and keep a record of it so we can help you.
• Technical information collected automatically. Like most websites, the servers that host this site may automatically record standard technical details in their logs — such as your IP address, browser type and device, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to operate and secure the site. We do not run analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking on this website.

2. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking technologies. The only data stored in your browser is the optional menu plan described above, which you control.

Some third-party services we rely on (see Section 5) may set their own cookies or receive limited technical information when their content loads on a page or when you click a link that takes you to their site. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your quote requests and questions, and prepare estimates and proposals;
• Plan, confirm, and coordinate the catering for your event;
• Communicate with you about your inquiry or booking (by phone, email, or messaging);
• Keep records of our bookings and communications for our legitimate business, accounting, and legal purposes;
• Maintain the security of the site and prevent spam or abuse; and
• Improve our menu, services, and website.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

4. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these limited situations:

• With service providers who help us operate. Our quote & contact form is delivered to us through FormSubmit, a form-processing service that passes your submission to our business email inbox. Your form data travels through FormSubmit for that purpose.
• To comply with the law. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or others.
• In a business transfer. If our business is ever sold or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Third-party services we use

To provide and present this website, we rely on the following third parties. When you use these features or click these links, the relevant company’s own privacy policy applies:

• FormSubmit — processes and delivers your quote & contact form submissions. See the FormSubmit site for details.
• Google Fonts — we load typefaces from Google’s font servers, so Google may receive your IP address and browser request when a page loads. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Maps — our address links out to Google Maps so you can find or navigate to us. Opening it takes you to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• WhatsApp — our “chat” links open a conversation with us in WhatsApp. If you use it, WhatsApp/Meta’s Privacy Policy applies.
• Social media & reviews — we link to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook, and Yelp. Visiting them is governed by Instagram/Meta’s and Yelp’s privacy policies.

6. Payments

We do not collect or store credit-card or bank details through this website. This site is used to request quotes and information only. Any deposit or payment for a confirmed booking is arranged separately and directly with us.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep quote requests and related communications for as long as needed to respond to you and to serve your event, and afterward for a reasonable period to maintain our business, accounting, and tax records or to comply with legal obligations. When we no longer need the information, we delete or anonymize it. The menu plan saved in your browser remains on your device until you clear your browser’s site data.

8. How we protect your information

Information submitted through the quote & contact form is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to the inquiries we receive to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information (such as financial account numbers) through the website’s message field.

9. Your rights and choices

You can contact us at any time to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it; and
• Opt out of any non-essential communications from us.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law. Visitors outside the United States. We are based in California, USA, and any information you provide is processed in the United States. If you contact us from another country, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this policy.

10. Children’s privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging catering. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our site contains links to third-party websites (for example, our social-media profiles and Google Maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
